These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name and registered address] ("we", "us") for the use of Treatstep, a web app that gives you a daily training plan for your dogs, starting from a skills check, with step-by-step exercises, a clicker and a timer, a shared plan for your household and printable sheets. By using or buying Treatstep you accept these terms.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox private: anyone who can open your email can open your account.
Plans and billing
- Three plans: after the skills check you pick one: the 1-week plan and the 4-week plan, which then renew every 4 weeks, or the 12-week plan, which then renews every 12 weeks. The pay screen shows today's price for the first period, the renewal price, the date of the first full-price charge and how to cancel, before you enter a card. The first payment is charged when you pick the plan.
- Automatic renewal: your plan renews automatically at the price and on the date shown on the pay screen, until you cancel. You agree to the automatic renewal with a separate box before paying. We email you before the first full-price renewal: 7 days before on the 4-week and 12-week plans; on the 1-week plan your confirmation email has the renewal date and a link to cancel.
- Cancel anytime: in the app open Account and tap "Cancel renewal". One tap, no questions. You can also email us. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and your data stays exportable.
- One plan covers every dog in your household, everyone you invite and every device you sign in from. Prices are in US dollars, shown on the pay screen. Any taxes are shown at checkout.
Refunds
30-Day Practice Guarantee: train with your plan on at least 7 different days in your first 30, and if it isn't helping, ask in Account and we refund everything you paid in those 30 days. European Union customers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The details are in our Refund Policy.
Training help, not professional advice
Treatstep gives general, reward-based training help. It is not veterinary or behavior advice and does not replace a vet or a certified behavior professional who can see your dog. If your dog bites, guards food or toys, panics when left alone or changes behavior suddenly, see a professional first; the app keeps those topics out of your plan. You are responsible for your dog's safety and for the people and animals around it during training.
Your content
Your dogs, answers, sessions, words and photos belong to you, and you can export your training log at any time. You give us permission to store and process your content only to run the app for you and the people you invite.
Fair use
Treatstep is for your personal use. You may print The Socialization & Settling Checklist, The Family Word Card and your fridge sheets for your own household and your dog sitter; please do not resell or redistribute them.
Service and changes
We work to keep Treatstep available and to improve it, and the app keeps working offline and catches up when you are back online. We may update features over time; we will not remove what you paid for during the period you paid for.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Treatstep is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
